Our Story

Founded in South Kensington in 1952, Bonne Bouche began as a small neighbourhood bakery with a big passion for quality.

In the mid-60s, German master baker Rolf Biller joined the business, bringing with him years of training in Germany and Switzerland — and a dedication to perfecting the craft of traditional breads, cakes, and pastries. His creativity and skill soon transformed Bonne Bouche into a beloved London destination.

Rolf’s original nougat twists and almond twists remain customer favourites to this day, alongside an ever-growing selection of handmade classics.

For over 50 years, we’ve stayed true to our heritage — crafting everything by hand with care and using time-honoured recipes. Today, our small team of expert bakers continues this tradition from our Perivale bakery, supplying our five London shops and cafés with freshly made cakes, pastries, and savouries every morning.

We also supply wholesale partners across West London and beyond, and now — through our online shop — customers can enjoy the same handmade quality via local delivery or in-store collection.
